1984 – when the dream of a high quality English medium school, in the name of Innocent Hearts School, came to reality in the shape of a play- way setup at the trust’s registered office at 72, Shaheed Udham Singh Nagar. At that time, only the parents of four students trusted our capability and sincerity.

1992 – From hutments, the school shifted to rented accommodation at Link Road.

1997 – The school moved to its own premises at Green Model Town, where it added all the amenities and features required for the ultimate growth of its students.

2004 – The doors of a new state-of-the-art junior wing were opened to accommodate the classes from Pre-Primary to grade IV. Designed by keeping in mind the needs and comforts of the tender-young learners, the building also possesses an Open theater for the young artists to express their talents a Splash pool to beat the heat of the summers.

2005 – The trust planned to expand its functions for the mankind to come-up with more of its projects at Innocent Hearts Fields, Loharan near Lambra, where the trust owns over 29 acres of land. To start with, the trust inaugurated a free dispensary (at no-profit-no-Ioss basis) to provide affordable medical facilities to the society.

2007 – For raising the socio-economic status of the people of the society, education is a must. But for providing good education, good teachers as navigators are required. To benefit the society further, the thinkers associated with the trust brought to reality an idea of providing quality teachers to architect the future of the society. For the purpose, Innocent Hearts College of Education was started at Green Model Town. Innocent Hearts College of Education is endeavoured to give 100 quality teachers to the society, every year. In its very first year of inception, besides holding merit positions in G. N. D. Univ., Amritsar, the college students made a landmark by grabbing the gold medal by taking 1st position.

Consecutively 2nd year, the college created history by positioning its 15 students (out of 100) in the 53-member merit list issued by the university. The same, too, has continued in the following years, with more of the records to be broken written in the years to come! To meet the over-whelming (or pending) demand of the parents to get their child admitted to Innocent Hearts School, the management of the school came-up with the project of starting a Kindergarten Wing at Innocent Hearts Fields, Nakodar Road, Loharan, initially with Nursery, L.K.G. U.K.G., and has now grown to the middle classes upto class IX.

2008 – With the celebrations in the form of Innocent Hearts Carnival, the kindergarten wing at Loharan was overtly inaugurated at the same parent-pocket- friendly fee structure of Innocent Hearts, in the serene, pollution-free environment, besides continuing to give quality education, the new branch of the school is providing state-of-the-art, ultramodern facilities to the students. A few to name are Horse riding. Splash pool, vast playgrounds, multimedia based teaching – learning and many more.
2009 -The trust, managing the school college of education, thinking on the lines to make its student-members self-sufficient and capable to lead a respectable and comfortable life in today’s hard-to-survive world, ventured into the field of higher education in the name of Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions. The institution is headed by Dr. Sayeed Zafar as Group Director, who has done his doctorate from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad has been associated with workshops consultancy assignments in the fields of Organisational Human Resource Development. He is also a member of Academic S Administrative Council of Retailers’ Association of India, Mumbai FRAI) From the session, 2009-10, the institution started providing the courses, namely, BBA, BCA, MBA MCA, affiliated with PTU, Jalandhar, PGPRM (Post Graduate Programme in Retail Management) recognized by (RAI, Mumbai), B.Sc. (Hotel Mgt. Catering Tech.) B.Com (Prof.), M.Com (Prof.) Besides this, Innocent Hearts Institute for Capacity Enhancement has been setup to offer G.N.D.U , Amritsar recognised affiliated courses namely, P.G.D.C.A., B.Sc.-IT, B.Lib. Info Sc. D. Lib. Sc.

2010 – Considering the demands of the youth opting for corporate jobs and placements in MNCs, the importance of MBA and other business, administrative courses has risen. To give recognition to its students, every top-class Business school {B-School) wants to be in the list of ISO 9001 :2008 Quality Certified Management Aptitude Test (MAT) conducted by All India Management Association {AlMA). Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions can genuinely boast of its quality as it is one of the participating B-Schools of India in MAT since 2010.

2011-As the world is marching ahead with the jobs in the Corporate section, the team at Innocent Hearts has come out with the concept of Vocational Courses which will be making the youth compatible to variety of jobs. One such venture is in the field of Hotel Management. Starting from the session 2011-12, the trust has added another feather in its cap by launching its another PTU affiliated institute at Loharan, in the name of Innocent Hearts Institute of Hotel Management, offering B. Sc. (Hotel Management). An MoU is being signed with one of the renowned Institute-cum-Hotel of Switzerland, wherein our students will be having their 3″d year with the Swiss experts to finally acquire their quality International food taste. Dr. W. R. Bowry Memorial Stadium : On the occasion of carnival “Euphoria” a dedicated stadium at Loharan has been inaugurated by Hon’ble Shk R.J. Khanderao, Joint Secretary! Regional Officer, eBSE, Panchkula, to provide more of the opportunities to the children in the field of sports, which form an integral part of the curriculum.

2012 – Entering deeper into the graduation courses, IHGI has added B. Com. (Prof.) and M.Com. (Prof.), affiliated to PTU, to its cap.

2013 – The Management of IHGI has undertaken a step to improve the skills of manpower in the hospitality sector under the aegis of “Hunar-Se-Rozgar Tak”. The youth who has even a minimum qualification of 8th Class and are between the age group of 18-28 years can avail this opportunity to undertake capacity building, for service provides in the Hospitality Industry. No fee is charged, trainees are provided free of cost training material, uniform, tool kit and free meals and the trainee with a minimum attendance of 90% is paid a stipend of Rs.1500/- in case of the F B Services course and Rs. 2000/- in case of food production course. Certificates provided by Ministry Tourism, Govt. of India are issued as well. This is a very novel idea to uplift the status moral of children of lesser God.

The trust has a vision, not only to shape the society into an educated society, but also has the thought for the underprivileged, especially the elderly. The trust has started with an Old-age Home Anand Ashram at Innocent Hearts Fields, Loharan, for the neglected senior citizens, to make them feel that they, too are needed lot of our world.
