Annual School Report
Innocent Hearts School, Cantt Jandiala Road, Diwali is a part of Innocent Hearts Group Of Institutions which is being run under the aegis of Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust established and registered in 1997. The trust has established many institutions under the able guidance of Dr. Anup Bowry, Academic Secretary of Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions.
Orientation Programme
As a regular practice followed every year, the session 2023-24 began with the orientation programme for the parents of the students of classes pre-primary and primary. Query-resolving session by our child psychologist Ms. Himani illuminated the path of positive parenting.
Olympiad
Our students participate in the Science and Maths International Olympiads and compete to outshine others. Participation in Olympiad infuses a healthy competitive spirit through reward based assessment.
Sports
Sports competitions inculcate the spirit of positive challenges and sportsmanship among the students and prepare them for the life ahead. Sports, Games and Physical fitness occupy a place of importance in our curriculum. Inter-House sports activities, Zonal and District level championship like yoga, volleyball, kho-kho, athletics, football and badminton were also organized. Students bagged 1st,2nd,3rd positions and make proud moments.
Club Activities
Various co-curricular activities are held under creative clubs to develop a pupil physically, morally, socially, and mentally. To hone the skills of the students in this challenging time in the contemporary world, we do not take our step back. We remain on the toes to provide something innovative to our students for their holistic development. Clubs which we offer to our wards are Dance Club, Sports Club, Art, and Craft Club, Eco Club, Science Club, Maths Club, Literary Forum, Heritage Clb, Health, and Wellness Club, Ek Bharat Shreshth Bharat, Disaster Management and Dramatics. Each year, the students organize an exhibition in which we have spectacular views of their activities.
Students’ Seminars and Workshop
To ensure that our students are well equipped with knowledge to face any challenges we have focused sessions on special topics including Disaster Management, Basic life Support, Health and Hygiene for Girls, Career Planning and Development.
Teachers’ In-service Training and Workshops
With the sole purpose of updating teachers’ knowledge, the school hosted a series of teachers’ workshops. It was an attempt which inclusively engulfed various significant aspects like moral values, life skills, meditation and stress management.
Annual Euphoria- The Meraki Fair Celebration
Beginning of November, witnessed a magnanimous morning where the school celebrated Euphoria which gave the students an amazing opportunity to showcase their potential.
