The English Literary Club has been conceived by the Department of English for the love of the language exhibited by all teachers and students.
This club is formed to develop self-efficacy and confidence and it would help to enhance the general knowledge base. It works in tandem to benefit students in the disciplines of writing and speaking by conducting events like Debates, Elocution, Talk Shows, Symposium, Lime Rill ans Seminars that are both instructional and enjoyable.
The Club has the following objectives:
- To inculcate among students a flair for the language and enhance their literary skills
- To induce reading habit in students
- To encourage students to become orators and display their intellectual, independent thinking skills and imbibe a sense of confidence
- To provide a platform for debating events
- To improve and encourage creative writing.
- Students will learn to analyze issues and come up with solutions.
- Students will develop organization skills and persuasive skills.
- It builds beneficial skills that are much needed in various workplaces.
- Literary club aims to help better expression helps to prepare students to work in a global community by teaching them about social, political and moral issues.
It will help to build confidence to be at ease not only professionally but also socially. To increase daily awareness and boost positive habits like reading and independent research
