BACHELOR OF COMMERCE (Honours)
The B.Com program is a fundamental stream of study which equips a student with concepts in Accountancy, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, and Industrial Policies.
Career Opportunities
After completing graduation in Commerce, aspirants have a wide range of options for higher studies. They can do post-graduation in any of the streams like Economics, Statistics, Law, Arts, MBA, etc. Upon successful completion of B.Com, aspirants can also apply for jobs relating to business and finance. Professionals can apply for employment in the finance sector like Banking, Company Secretary ship, Chartered Accountancy, and Cost and works Accountancy jobs.

Admission Schedule
Admission to this course starts in the month of May Every year.
Duration
The duration of this course is 3 years. The course is divided into 6 Semesters.
Eligibility conditions
Candidate should have passed at least 10+2 examination of Punjab School Education Board or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto with at least 33% marks in the aggregate in case of Commerce students who have passed 10+2 examination and 40% for the students who have opted for two of the following Commerce subjects in 10+2: Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, Mathematics, Office Management, and Secretarial Practice, Principle and Practice of Insurance, Tax Procedure and Practice and 45% for other.
EXAMINATION SCHEDULE
University examinations are taken twice every year as per following schedule.
Odd Semester : November and December (Every year)
Even Semester : April and May (Every year)
